Hatta Dam

It looked, for a minute, similar to an illusion gone frantic. There on the moving sand ridges were scores of deformed four-wheelers hustling all over, kicking up billows of sand as they went. The main idea that jumped to my brain was that a pack of thrill seeker bazaar stand-ins had been given free access the desert. Not a chance. This wasn't a delusion. There I was 30 minutes out of Dubai and there, with their throttles fired up, were the rise bashers pelting over the desert in their rise carriages. Ridge slamming is frequently called the 'wilderness boating of the desert' and it's an extremely prevalent game in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Try not to get stressed by the name.
